T556 - 2 19th c. Papua New Guinea Bows and 7 Arrows (One broken) Provenance: Collected by a Scottish Doctor whilst in Papua New Guinea in the mid 19th century. I purchased these weapons over 20 years ago from the Grandson who was going into Residential Accomodation. Bows Unstrung to allow shipment to the U.K. Several of the arrows are marked on the cane possibly identifying the maker. -P.;O.A. the set. |

Antique Inuit/Eskimo knife with a gray
flint blade set into a bone handle embellished with four ridges, two
channels and a suspension perforation 5.5/8" long, 1/2" thick and the
blade is 1.1/8" wide, in excellent overall condition. Late 19th century.
