Antique Inuit/Eskimo knife with a gray flint blade set into a bone handle embellished with four ridges, two channels and a suspension perforation 5.5/8" long, 1/2" thick and the blade is 1.1/8" wide, in excellent overall condition. Late 19th century. Ex. Museum piece with two book references comparable  Thiry Paul Mary, Eskimo Artifacts 1977 page 312 also Hothelar collecting Inidan Knives 1986 Page 103.  - Ref - T530A - £450

T528 REALLY EXCELLENT GROUP OF 7 ESKIMO/INUIT ANIMALS carved from walrus and mammoth tooth (comprises 2 walrus/polar bear/arctic bird/seal/ arctic fox and wolf all collected by Fred and Florence Sickler whilst living in the eskimo village of Shunnak, Alaska from 1910 to 1921 sizes 1.5" to 2" (bear 3")P.O.A. - WILL SEPARATE.
